In my last blog, we explored some of the subtle signals your nervous system sends when you’re starting to move too fast for your own energy.But there’s a deeper question underneath all of this:


Why do so many women miss these signs until they’re already exhausted, overwhelmed, or burnt out?


The truth is simple — but also heartbreaking:


Most women are so used to pushing that “over-functioning” feels normal.

We’re caretakers, organisers, emotional anchors, planners, helpers, and often the steady support behind everyone else’s wellbeing.

So of course we miss the early whispers.We’ve been taught to.We’ve been praised for it.

But burnout doesn’t happen overnight.It creeps in through tiny moments the body notices long before the mind catches up.

Here are five signs you might be heading toward burnout — not because you’re weak, but because you’ve pushed past your own limits for too long.

🌿 1. You rush through everything — even rest.

If slowing down feels uncomfortable…If you sit down and instantly think about the next task…If your body doesn’t know how to “switch off”…

Your nervous system is stuck in go-mode.This is one of the earliest indicators that a crash may be coming.
